Vivistim Reimbursement
Insertion of the Vivistim® Paired VNS™ System may require prior authorization for most insurances and Medicare/Medicaid replacement plans. MicroTransponder has developed the Vivistim Pre‐Service Clearance Program to assist with securing prior authorization or pre-certification. We work with you and your provider’s office to secure prior authorization. The process to obtain a prior authorization often requires several steps and you may receive correspondence from your insurance during the process. Your doctor will receive the same correspondence you do and will continue to work with your insurance to obtain a prior authorization for you.
